  1. I am the son of a son of a son… of early Southern Oregon settlers in Jackson County Oregon. The family settled at what became the Jackson, Josephine County line along the Rogue River and were the Savage Family. The names should be well known among locals. As with the earlier settlers along the east coast, my family enjoyed the protection of a national government from far distances away. But, as with those earlier national protection efforts, our national government fell into the same pattern of abuse as did the Colonists. That abuse continues in damages to levels termed “vitiate” in all of Oregon, including around our former homestead due to the damage experienced by ill management of the lands held by the national government. These lands of issue must be returned to its rightful place within the State.

    1. Thank you, Dave – Given how long federal government has slowly eroded rights of the people’s access to what Jefferson referred to as “usufruct,” there is a long battle ahead to regain control over elected officials that were hired by the voters. Removing money from politics might be a good first step. Appreciate all you and your family have done to decelerate the slow motion implosion of true Americanism.

“I set out on this ground, which I suppose to be self evident, ‘that the earth belongs in usufruct to the living’: that the dead have neither powers nor rights over it.”
      ~Thomas Jefferson
